The Auckland

In the Domain are
the Winter and Fern gardens free to the public from 10 am -

Overall, the Museum provides a window on New Zealand's cultural
and natural history and houses a fine collection of Maori
treasures. The Discovery Centres - "Weird and Wonderful"
and "Treasures and Tails" are places for fun and
exploration of the natural world and human culture for kids
of all ages.
The twice daily Maori Show at the Auckland Museum is interesting
and entertaining, and a great introduction to the Maori culture.

Park. Every January & February there are free large concerts
in the domain, like "Opera in the Park" and "Symphony
under the Stars".
